Michael Wohl first became a father at 47, three years ago, and now has two kids. He is an award-winning filmmaker and author of 12 books on filmmaking techniques. He regularly speaks at film festivals and conferences, and his hundreds of hours of online training courses are among the highest rated at AskVideo.com. He served for many years as a lecturer at UCLA’s School of Film and Television. He is perhaps most well known as one of the original designers of Apple’s Emmy award-winning film editing software Final Cut Pro.
Andy Horwitz became a father in December 2018 when his son Jacob was born. He is an experienced cultural programmer, creative strategist and accomplished writer with over twenty years of experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit creative sectors. He began his career presenting groundbreaking, innovative performances in New York at Performance Space 122, CUNY, and the River to River Festival in Lower Manhattan, as well as founding, in 2003, the seminal cultural website Culturebot, an essential resource of the New York performing arts scene.
