He is perhaps most well known as one of the original designers of Apple’s Emmy award-winning software Final Cut Pro and had had the privilege of being involved in several related software development projects.
He has also maintained a parallel career as an author, professor, and educator, sharing his passion, enthusiasm, and sharply honed understanding of the art and craft of filmmaking to students at UCLA’s Graduate School of Film and Television and elsewhere.
